“When 2020 Covid-19 shutdown hit, the world hunkered down to help contain the carnage. Personally, I turned to Facebook Marketplace to help keep my sanity. There I found a multitude of items to rescue. As people sorted through their belongings and the belongings of their loved ones who had succumbed to illnesses of all kinds, incredibly beautiful quilt tops appeared for sale. As it turned out, ones which caught my eye and imagination were quilt tops from the 1890’s through to the 2000’s. These magnificent items were pieces of art, craft and history of the people who made them, then stored them away, as little time capsules.

The artistry of your interpretation of my hopes, the craftmanship of the original maker, and the quality your finishing of each of the quilts has created a jewel box collection of quilts that I treasure and display in our home.
