Cathy is an AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser, quilt
historian, a member of several national and
regional quilt and fabric study groups. As a national
speaker, she provides various lectures and
workshops on polyester, hexagons, crazy and
inscribed quilts and others. Cathy is a historical re-
enactor specializing in women’s studies and quilt
history. She loves to teach beginning, hand piecing,
applique and crazy quilting.
Cathy is the owner of Prairie Quiltings, LLC., which
provides long-arm quilting services, custom t-shirt
and memorabilia quilts, and commissioned quilts. I
also sell vintage trims/textiles, crazy quilting and
sewing supplies. As a quilt artist, she has over 40
years of quailing knowledge  and experiences.
